Description

Designed to monitor and regulate 4-20 mA from practically any process meter with or without a voltage generator. Hanna Instruments™ Amperometer Simulator and Calibrator can measure incoming current, provide power, and simulate 4-20 mA output to calibrate your process meter.

This portable simulator has a large LCD screen to display values. The communication bus from process instrumentation can be simulated in any of 4 modes. Select between Drive and Measurement modes through a switch on the front panel and two dials allow for quick adjustment of the current.

  • Passive Drive/Calibrator Mode: Set the mA current value and adjust the process meter accordingly
  • Active Drive/Simulator Mode: Simulate the correct current value and provide power to the bus via an external adapter
  • Passive Measurement/Tester Mode: Measures and displays the mA (or pH) values transmitted by the process meter
  • Active Measurement/Tester Mode: Measures and displays the mA (or pH) values and provides voltage to the 4-20 mA bus
