DiscoverX cAMP Hunter™ CHO-K1 GPBAR1 Bioassay Kit

The cAMP Hunter GPBAR1 Bioassay kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This bioassay assesses ligand (e.g. peptide YY) based activation of GPBAR1 GPCR activity via detection of levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wildtype GPBAR1, a naturally Gi coupled GPCR. Upon activation of GPBAR1 , the (decrease/increase) in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to a decreased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.
