Description

Description

Description: This AF29-4D12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD337, which is also known as NKp30. Expressed on NK cells, CD337 is the predominant member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor family that also includes NKp46 and NKp44. CD337 is involved in activating and expanding resting NK cells following interaction with dendritic cells to eliminate tumor, virus-infected, and immature dendritic cells. Several ligands for this receptor have been reported, including B7-H6. The AF29-4D12 antibody has been reported to crossreact to rhesus macaque. Applications Reported: This AF29-4D12 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This AF29-4D12 antibody has been pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This may be used at 5 μL (0.6 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. PE-eFluor™ 610 can be excited with laser lines from 488-561 nm and emits at 607 nm. We recommend using a 610/20 band pass filter (equivalent to PE-Texas Red™). Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochome. Light sensitivity: This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Please protect this vial and stained samples from light. Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixatio...

The protein encoded by this gene is a natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) that may aid NK cells in the lysis of tumor cells. The encoded protein interacts with CD3-zeta (CD247), a T-cell receptor. A single nucleotide polymorphism in the 5' untranslated region of this gene has been associated with mild malaria suceptibility. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, May 2010].
