Description

Recycle Centrifuge Tubes and Rigid Lab Plastics using this Zero Waste Box system. Zero Waste Box includes signage, a built-in liner, shipping to and from your location, and processing of the materials.

Use this Zero Waste Box to recycle:

  • Any brand and type of rigid lab plastics: centrifuge tubes, plastic bottles, trays, vials and beakers.

Approximate waste units accepted:

  • Small: 200 units
  • Medium: 550 units
  • Large: 1000 units

Do not send in:

  • Tubes and rigid lab plastics that are contaminated with bodily fluids and materials considered hazardous or dangerous
  • Autoclaved material
  • Hazardous waste (sharp, flammable, reactive, corrosive, ignitable, toxic, infectious or pathogenic) which presents a danger to the environment, or to people
  • Batteries, pressurized canisters, broken glass and medical waste

Important:

  • We do not collect any hazardous waste containing substances with toxic, reactive, corrosive, infectious, flammable, explosive properties or harmful to human health and the environment.
  • Please make sure that you do not mix hazardous waste with non-hazardous waste.
  • As the waste producer, it is your responsibility to classify the waste.
