Description

Used in electrophoresis and molecular biology applications. EDTA Disodium Salt Solution, 0.05M, Chem-Lab is a chelator of divalent cations for use in TH titrations. Solution contains 18.612g EDTA diNa · 2H2O per liter of water (0.01 M).

EDTA Disodium Salt Dihydrate is a chelator of divalent cations. It inhibits enzymes, such as metalloproteases, that require divalent cations for activity. It is also used in many enzyme buffers and as an enzyme inactivator at high concentrations.
