Description
Enterovirus 71 3AB Polyclonal Antibody for Western Blot, IHC (P)
Enterovirus 71 (EV71) causes hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD), for which there are currently no therapeutics. EV71 virions have icosahedral symmetry and a diameter of approximately 30 nm, comprising 60 copies of the four protein subunits VP1 to VP4. Each of subunits VP1 to VP3 adopts a beta-barrel configuration common to many viruses. Despite of the importance of EV71, the nonstructural protein 3AB from this virus is little understood for its function during EV71 replication.
