ESRRB Monoclonal Antibody (OTI1E6), TrueMAB™, OriGene
Description
ESRRB (steroid hormone receptor ERR2) plays a role in maintaice of self-renewal and pluripotency of embryonic and trophoblast stem cells through different signaling pathways including FGF signaling pathway and Wnt signaling pathways. Upon FGF signaling pathway activation ESRRB interacts with KDM1A by directly binding to enhancer sites of ELF5 and EOMES and activates their transcription leading to self-renewal of trophoblast stem cells. ESSRB also regulates expression of multiple rod-specific genes and is required for survial of this cell type. Defects in the gene can cause deafness, autosomal recessive, 35 (DFNB35).
