Description

SPEX™ Frosted PE Vial Set is packaged in a foam vial holder within a sturdy polyethylene carrier that has the same footprint and height as a deep-well titer plate.

  • Makes sample preparation faster and easier
  • Unique alternative to standard titer plates
  • Each grinding vial has a volume of 5 mL and a working volume of 1.5 mL
  • Grinding vials are extensively tested with various samples and shown to resist perforation by steel grinding balls
  • Polyethylene is compatible with commonly used reagents such as TRIzol™
  • Frosting on the outside of the vial facilitates vial labeling
  • Grinding vials are compatible with 2663 Cryo-Block to preserve temperature sensitive samples during grinding
  • Process 96 samples at a time by running four Vial Sets in the Large Capacity Clamp Assembly
