Optimized for septum piercing, the rough, field-tested syringes are made of borosilicate glass with metal flanges of either stainless steel or nickel-plated brass.

- Fixed needle syringes have a maximum temperature range of 5° to 70°C
- 5 to 100μL capacity needles have a maximum safe working pressure of 1000psi; 100psi maximum functional pressure
