Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (91%), Rat (91%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59009 (PA5-59009. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
CLYBL, also named as CLB, is a Mitochondrial citramalyl-CoA lyase indirectly involved in the vitamin B12 metabolism. It is a human mitochondrial enzyme of unknown function that is found in multiple eukaryotic taxa and conserved to bacteria. It acts as a beta-methylmalate synthase in vitro, by mediating conversion of glyoxylate and propionyl-CoA to beta-methylmalate. There are two isoforms with MW 31-33 kDa and 35-37 kDa.
