Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (67%), Rat (67%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-81923 (PA5-81923. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Factor I, a serine protease, is a regulatory component of both the alternative and the classical complement pathway. Factor I is synthesized as a single chain precursor of 88 kDa, processed to yield the active form, composed of two disulfide-linked chains, the a-chain (50 kDa) and the b-chain (38 kDa). Plasma concentration is 35 μg/mL.
