Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (35%), Rat (35%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-61639 (PA5-61639. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

PLEKHG2 may be a transforming oncogene with exchange activity for CDC42. PLEKHG2 may be a guanine-nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RAC1 and CDC42.PLEKHG2 activated by the binding to subunits beta and gamma of the heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide-binding protein (G protein).
