Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (48%), Rat (48%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63313 (PA5-63313. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

This gene is a member of the PEPP subfamily of paired-like homoebox genes. The gene may be regulated by androgens and epigenetic mechanisms. The encoded nuclear protein is likely a transcription factor that may play a role in human reproduction. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2012].
