Improve productivity and cell yield in fed-batch cultures by supplementing the cell culture medium to replace nutrients depleted during cell culture. HyClone Cell Boost 7a and Cell Boost 7b supplements are intended for use in combination with HyClone ActiPro ActiSM media as part of the ActiPro cell culture system formulated to provide high yields of recombinant proteins in processes when using Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell lines.

Cell Boost 7a is available as a convenient ready-to-use liquid feed solution or as a dry powder feed to be hydrated before use.

  • Designed to support modern manufacturing processes, Cell Boost 7a is chemically defined (CD), animal-derived component-free (ADCF), and does not contain any growth factors (such as insulin), peptides, hydrolysates, phenol red, or 2-mercaptoethanol
  • Cell Boost 7a and 7b are concentrated cell culture supplements designed to be used together to enhance protein production
  • For convenience, this cell culture supplement is available as a ready-to-use liquid feed solution in addition to a dry powder format
