Specificity: Specific to the NS1 protein. No cross reactivity with related viruses. Non-reactive with: TBE virus, Yellow Fever virus, West Nile virus, Dengue viruses (1-4), Zika virus and Chikungunya virus. Purified preparations consist of >90% pure mouse monoclonal antibody which has been purified from ascites fluid by protein A chromatography. The final preparation is formulated to a protein concentration of 100 μg/mL in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2 and contains 0.1% sodium azide. Each vial contains 1.0 mL. This product contains no stabilizing proteins and should be stored at 4C until ready for use. Working dilution must be determined by the user. Suggested starting ranges are 1:10-1:50 for ICC/IF and 1:20-1:200. for ELISA.
Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) is a flavivirus related to dengue, yellow fever and West Nile viruses, and is spread by mosquitoes. JEV is the main cause of viral encephalitis in many countries of Asia with an estimated 68000 clinical cases every year.
