Key Properties- Decreases the surface tension of solutions of peracetic acid (APA) to promote contact between the disinfectant and packaging plastics that are highly hydrophobic in nature; in this way the action disinfectant is maximized without the need for excessive concentrations
- Promotes the dewatering and recovery of disinfectant solutions, thus contributing to a lower cost of disinfection
- Can be determined in proportion to the contributions of APA
- Recommended for pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries
- Also used in food industry, alone, or in CIP additive for detergent sufactant properties, on difficult stains or brittle materials
- Strong wetting properties on plastic
- Contributes to the action of the disinfectant by promoting contact with the surface
- No action on the stability of the APA
- Compatible with all water hardnesses
- Low foaming
- Use proportional doses of APA refills and to concentrations between 0.02 and 1% v/v depending on the type of support and selected temperature
- Must be completely rinsed with water after application to remove any residue on the surfaces in contact with foodstuffs
- Store in original closed container away from extreme temperatures
