Invitrogen™ Phospho-PNK (Ser114) Polyclonal Antibody

Description
Phospho-PNK (Ser114) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of PNK only when phosphorylated at Ser114.
Anti-human Polynucleotide Kinase Mouse Monoclonal Antibody recognizes polynucleotide kinase (PNK), a 57 kDa nuclear enzyme implicated in DNA strand repair processes that occur during DNA replication and recombination, or in response to DNA damaging agents. PNK targets the DNA 5'-hydroxy and 3'-phosphate termini for phosphorylation and dephosphorylation events. During strand breakage in human cells, normal PNK associates with other nuclear proteins to prepare the DNA termini for the enzymatic actions of DNA polymerase-beta and DNA ligase III. PNK is a key functional component in maintaining the genetic stability of human cells.
