Description

Designed to isolate CD14+ cells via a positive selection principle

CD14 is a 55kDa GPI-linked cell surface glycoprotein that is preferentially expressed on monocytes/macrophages. The amino acid sequence of mature human CD14 is approximately 67% and 64% identical to the mouse and rat proteins, respectively.

Typical recovery ranges between 45% and 75% and the purity of recovered CD14+ cells ranges between 90 and 97%
Monocytes isolated using the MagCellect CD14+ Cell Isolation Kit can be used for various downstream applications including the ex vivo generation of dendritic cells
