Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

SEMA4D (CD100) is a cell surface receptor for PLXN1B and PLXNB2. It plays an important role in cell-cell signaling and promotes reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. CD100 also plays a role in axonal growth cone guidance in the developing central nervous system, as well as, regulates dendrite and axon branching and morphogenesis. CD100 is also active in the immune system - it induces B-cells to aggregate and improves thru viability.
