Description

Used in conjunction with a magnetic stirring plate, Spinbar™ stir bars enable uniform, consistent and thorough mixing of chemical solutions, Choose from octagonal, polygon or elliptical bars

  • Alnico magnets encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI PTFE coating
  • Superior chemical compatibility

Octagon:

  • Multi-faceted shape provides greater surface area and added turbulence for more vigorous, thorough mixing compared to smooth surface of cylindrical bars

Polygon:

  • Absence of pivot ring allows stir bar to stay close to bottom of vessel enabling scraping of solids and coupling with magnetic SpinDrive

Elliptical:

  • Contoured egg shape ideal for use in round-bottom vessels/flasks to ensure complete mixing
  • Fits:
    • 20 x 10 mm fits 10, 25, 50 and 100 mL flasks
    • 25 x 13 mm fits 100 and 200 mL flasks
    • 32 x 16 mm fits 300 and 500 mL flasks
