Invitrogen™ STOP1 Biosimilar Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody

Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen™ MA558929
Description
For reconstitution, add sterile, distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of 1 mg/mL. Gently shake to solubilize the protein completely. Do not vortex. Reconstituted products should be stored at -80 °. This antibody can also be cross referenced by the term Genentech patent anti-STOP-1.
STOP1 (Sensitive to Proton Rhizotoxicity 1) is a zinc finger transcription factor primarily studied in Arabidopsis thaliana. The STOP1 gene plays a crucial role in regulating the plant's response to aluminum (Al) toxicity and proton rhizotoxicity. Located on chromosome 4 in Arabidopsis, STOP1 regulates various downstream genes, including those involved in the exudation of organic acids, which help in alleviating Al toxicity by chelating aluminum ions. STOP1 also interacts with other transcription factors like TCP20 to regulate root growth, particularly under conditions of nitrate deficiency and acidic pH. The influence of STOP1 extends to regulating genes such as ALMT1 and MATE, which are involved in multiple stress responses and nutrient management in plants, highlighting its importance in plant stress physiology and adaptation.
