γδ T-Cell Receptor Hamster anti-Mouse, Brilliant Violet 786, Clone: GL3, BD Optibuild™

Description

The GL3 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to a common epitope of theδchain of the T-cell Receptor (TCR) complex onγδTCR-expressing T lymphocytes and NK-T cells of all mouse strains tested. It does not react withαβTCR-bearing T cells. In the mouse, cells expressing theγδTCR are found in the thymus, intestinal epithelium, epidermis, dermis, pulmonsry epithelium, peritoneum, liver, and peripheral lymphoid organa.

The antibody was conjugated to BD Horizon™ BV786 which is part of the BD Horizon Brilliant™ Violet family of dyes. This dye is a tandem fluorochrome of BD Horizon BV421 with an Ex Max of 405nm and an acceptor dye with an Em Max at 786nm. BD Horizon BV786 can be excited by the violet laser and detected in a filter used to detect Cy™7-like dyes (eg, 780/60nm filter). BV786 is a tandem fluorochrome of BD Horizon BV421 and an acceptor dye with an emission maximum at 786 nm. BV786 offers a bright choice for the 6th detector off the violet laser.
