Description
These Thermo Scientific™ ThermoPrime &italic_begin;Taq&italic_end; DNA Polymerases are recommended for PCR applications requiring increased yield and sensitivity and to produce large amounts of PCR product.
Thermo Scientific ThermoPrime Taq DNA Polymerase is a robust enzyme that delivers high reaction sensitivity and reliable PCR results. Optimized buffers work synergistically with the ThermoPrime enzyme to produce high yield, full-length DNA, up to 12kb in size.High Purity—94kDa ultrapure recombinant thermostable DNA polymerase provides 5« to 3« exonuclease (strand displacement) activity and 3« adenylation activity
High thermal stability—Proprietary buffer formulation protects ThermoPrime Taq during high temperature steps, ensuring optimal performance throughout the PCR reaction
Full-length amplification—ThermoPrime Taq is proven to amplify standard DNA targets in excess of 12kb
Simple protocol—Master mix formats reduce protocol steps and minimize the risk of pipetting errors and sample contamination and are available in ReddyMix format for direct loading onto agarose gels
Reproducible results—ThermoPrime Taq is fully licensed for PCR, and all mixes undergo extensive quality control testing to ensure batch-to-batch consistency
Mix contains: 0.025U/μL ThermoPrime Plus DNA Polymerase (=1.25U/50μL rxn); 75mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.8 at 25°C); 20mM (NH4)2SO4; 0.01% (v/v) Tween™; 200μM of each dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP; 1.5-4.0mM MgCl2 (depending on Cat. No. selected)
Recommended for:
Routine PCR using genomic, viral and plasmid templates; Amplifying fragments up to 12kb; RT-PCR
