Preparation: This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Mouse VCAM-1 (CD106) (Met1-Glu698) and conjugated with FITC under optimum conditions, the unreacted FITC was removed. Storage: This antibody can be stored at 2C-8C for twelve months without detectable loss of activity. Protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze!.
VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases.
