Invitrogen™ WIF1 Monoclonal Antibody (1G5)
Description
MA5-15701 targets WIF1 in indirect ELISA, IF, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-15701 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human WIF1 expressed in E. Coli. MA5-15701 detects WIF1 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 42kDa.
The protein encoded by this gene functions to inhibit WNT proteins, which are extracellular signaling molecules that play a role in embryonic development. This protein contains a WNT inhibitory factor (WIF) domain and five epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domains, and is thought to be involved in mesoderm segmentation.
