Invitrogen™ ZNF354C Biosimilar Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody

Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen™ MA559477
Description
For reconstitution, add sterile, distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of 1 mg/mL. Gently shake to solubilize the protein completely. Do not vortex. Reconstituted products should be stored at -80 °. This antibody can also be cross referenced by the term Macrogenics patent anti-KID3.
ZNF354C (Zinc Finger Protein 354C) is located on chromosome 5 and functions primarily as a transcriptional repressor. It is characterized by the presence of a KRAB (Kruppel-associated box) domain, which is essential for its repressive activity. The KRAB domain interacts with various co-repressors to inhibit the transcription of specific genes. ZNF354C is involved in several biological processes, including suppressing endothelial angiogenic sprouting by inhibiting gene expression via its KRAB domain. Additionally, ZNF354C is implicated in the regulation of the tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) by influencing promoter methylation patterns, which can affect cellular processes such as proliferation, migration, and the response to ischemia/reperfusion injury. Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) have identified variants in ZNF354C that are associated with certain immune responses, highlighting its potential role in mediating disease pathways.
